MBB: SEC Two-Time Opponents, Game Locations Set for 2021-22
Tom Crean

Georgia’s five home-and-home matchups and the locations of all the Bulldogs’ 18 SEC games for the upcoming season were announced by the league office on Wednesday.

The Bulldogs will meet Auburn, Florida, South Carolina, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt twice during the 2021-22 campaign. Georgia also will host Alabama, Arkansas, Ole Miss and Tennessee, while traveling to Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi State and Missouri.

Of the five, two-time foes, Georgia traditionally faces three “geographic rivals” – Auburn, Florida and South Carolina – every season. The league office determines each schools’ additional two opponents annually.

Georgia has emerged as one of the SEC’s most high-powered offenses under head coach Tom Crean. The Bulldogs averaged 77.5 points during 2020-21, their second-highest offensive output in the 2000s and the most since the 2002-03 season. Georgia has reached the 90-point scoring plateau 15 times during Crean’s first 90 games at UGA. Prior to his arrival, the Bulldogs scored 90 or more points 15 times in 11-plus seasons combined, a span of 387 games dating back to 2006.

The Georgia Bulldog Club’s 2021-22 Men’s Basketball Fund (formally known as the Basketball Enhancement Fund) campaign is now underway. Donors who are interested in renewing their support, as well as fans looking to make their first contribution toward Georgia Men’s Basketball, can visit georgiadogs.com/donate or contact The Georgia Bulldog Club by phone at 877-423-2947. Personalized renewal packages will also be mailed to 2019 and 2020 contributors. The minimum donation requirement to qualify for renewable season tickets is $150 per seat. All contributions and season ticket applications are due by September 17, 2021.

MBF contributions help provide essential support for student-athlete scholarships, academic support, training and nutrition, travel assistance, recruiting, and equipment upgrades. MBF donors enjoy access to exclusive men’s basketball benefits including renewable season tickets, game day parking and hospitality, and postseason ticket request opportunities.

All tickets for the 2021-22 basketball season will be digital that along with pedestal scanners, will provide fans a contactless entry to all games. Fans will no longer receive printed tickets in the mail. More information on digital tickets will be available leading up to the season.
