MEN’S GOLF: Georgia Falls to 10th after Round 2 of Querencia Cabo Intercollegiate

The Georgia men’s golf team had a tough day on the course at Cabo San Lucas, Mexico on Monday, shooting a 16-over par 300 in round 2 to fall to 10th place in the Querencia Cabo Collegiate.
 
 
Through 2 rounds, the Bulldogs have shot a total of 13-over par for 581 and are behind the field leader Oklahoma State by 29 strokes. The Cowboys hold the team lead with a total 16-under par 552.
 
 
Senior Jaime Lopez Rivarola paced the Bulldogs on Monday with a 1-over 72. Freshman Spencer Ralston added a 2-over 73, followed by sophomore Tye Waller at 6-over 77 and sophomore Jack Larkin Jr. at 7-over 78. Senior Greyson Sigg had Georgia’s non-counting score of 8-over 79.
 
 
Ralston stands 17th for the tournament at 1-under 141, seven shots in back of Texas’ Steven Chervony. Lopez Rivarola is at 5-over 147, while Waller is at 6-over 148, Sigg is at 7-over 149 and Larkin is at 8-over 150.
