The UGA men’s tennis team climbed the polls from No. 22 to No. 11 in the latest Oracle/ITA National Rankings after winning three matches in a row over Utah State, Vanderbilt and Kentucky.

 
 
The Bulldogs also had a strong showing individually with three singles players and a trio of doubles tandems landing in the latest rankings. Junior Wayne Montgomery moved up four spots to No. 26, while sophomore Emil Reinberg is at No. 46 and freshman Nathan Ponwith is at No. 99.
 
 
In doubles, the team of Reinberg and Ponwith moved into the rankings following an impressive weekend. They are at No. 60, while the duo of Jan Zielinski and Robert Loeb moved up 14 spots to No. 30 and Zielinski and Walker Duncan are at No. 46.
 
 
Georgia is currently 2-0 in conference play with wins against then-No. 30 Vanderbilt and then-No. 15 Kentucky — both coming on the road. This week, the Bulldogs return to the Dan Magill Tennis Complex to host Ole Miss on Friday at 2 p.m. ET and Arkansas on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
 
 
The Bulldogs have won 17-straight regular season matches against teams from the SEC, including a perfect 12-0 mark a year ago. Perhaps even more impressive is that Georgia has won 25-straight regular season home matches against conference foes — a streak that stretches all the way back to the 2012 season.
