The fourth-ranked Georgia men’s tennis team features six Bulldogs in the Wednesday edition of the Oracle/ITA Rankings, including five in the top-50 of the singles rankings.

Representing Georgia doubles is the junior/sophomore duo of Jan Zielinski and Robert Loeb at No. 8. Playing on the No. 1 doubles court, the tandem won both of their matches in the ITA Kick-Off against Iowa and Memphis, on the way to securing Georgia’s 10th-straight appearance in the ITA National Team Indoor Championship.

In singles, junior Walker Duncan leads the squad at No. 14 in the nation, jumping from the 33rd-position in the rankings following fall action. Duncan is joined by his doubles partner, Wayne Montgomery, at No. 17 after the senior posted two victories in the ITA Kick-off weekend at the first singles court.

Zielinski moves up four spots to No. 26, following a couple of singles wins in the ITA Kick-Off, while junior Emil Reinberg comes in at No. 31. Freshman Nathan Ponwith rounds out the rankings at No. 45, moving from No. 66 in the previous Oracle/ITA lineup, after notching two of his own victories against Iowa and Memphis in the ITA Kick-Off.

In the team rankings, Georgia remains at No. 4 in both the Oracle/ITA Rankings and the USTA College Tennis Top-25 Rankings. The Bulldogs are the top-ranked team in the Southeastern Conference, following only Wake Forest, Ohio State and North Carolina.
