The Georgia men’s tennis team will christen the newly-renovated tennis stadium with back-to-back matches on Monday, Feb. 24, and Tuesday, Feb. 25.

First, the Bulldogs take on the FAU Owls during Monday’s matchup at 2:30 p.m. Georgia is 2-0 against FAU, who is led by former Bulldog Ricardo Gonzalez of Georgia’s 2007 national championship-winning team. Bulldogs head coach Manuel Diaz heads into the match with a recorded 703 career wins. Now in his 32nd year, Diaz only trails Bulldog great Dan Magill’s record (706) by only three wins.

Georgia takes the courts again Tuesday in another 2:30 p.m. match against Mercer. The Bulldogs own a perfect 8-0 all-time record against the Bears.
These two matches kickstart what will be a six-match home stretch for the Bulldogs. Georgia returns Friday, Feb. 28, as the team takes on SEC foe Tennessee at 2:30 p.m. The Volunteers are coming off a 4-0 win over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
