Jacob Eason showed up at the Kirby Smart 7-on-7 Camp inside Sanford Stadium Friday afternoon. One of the first things Eason did was to walk across the field to greet 2017 quarterback commitment, Jake Fromm. Fromm’s Houston County team was a 7v7 competitor, and Fromm was on fire as its QB.
Everyone that I talked to, including analysts Rusty Mansell of 247Sports and Jake Reuse of Rivals, agreed with me that Fromm was nothing short of spectacular. He found his open receivers consistently and, more importantly, hit them. His passes included a mix of touch and bullets and he led receivers perfectly on deep balls. It was a great day for the young quarterback.
Despite playing on a state championship baseball team, Fromm has also found time to hit the gym. “Thick” is the word most used to describe him along the sidelines at Sandford…and that is a good thing.

Madden and Cleveland will be quite the pair of back up Guards this year -it will depressing for a worn out defensive line to see them come into the Game !
Eason, Fromm and Lawrence to go with RB’s the Mcgee will recruit, the O line Pittman will get and the WR’s Coley will get and Bam! Just Bam! O h and Fromm will push Eason and that will be good for both!
It looks like the QB position is in good hands for a while…
