After practicing once during the weekend on Saturday morning at Sanford Stadium, the Georgia football team returned to its temporary home at the UGA’s Club Sports facility for another practice on Tuesday.
 
 

 
 
The Bulldogs practiced for two and a half hours at the facility during their fourth session of the spring. Georgia will resume spring practice on Thursday with another workout down South Milledge Avenue at the practice site. The Bulldogs will host a two-day coaching clinic on Thursday and Friday with the final session coming back at the stadium.
 
 
“I thought overall this was not a good day today,” said Bulldog head coach Kirby Smart. “There was not a lot of focus and we looked like we were coming back from a Monday off. Looks like we hit a wall and we are not where we need to be.”

Smart did add that junior outside linebacker Lorenzo Carter earned the award from Saturday’s practice “for having the most ball disruptions.”
 
 
“A lot of people told me when I got here that he wasn’t physically tough so now we are trying to challenge him,” said Smart. “I think he is a guy who you have to push and challenge constantly and he’ll respond.”
 
 
Smart also confirmed that he was aware of sophomore Jonathan Ledbetter’s misdemeanor charge over the weekend. In accordance with UGA Athletic Association policy, Ledbetter will sustain a one-game suspension.
