Who just are these Ragin’ Cajuns out of Louisiana-Lafayette? I’ve got 4 players from the visiting team that you should keep your eye on.

ANTHONY JENNINGS (QB, #11)

This Marietta, Ga. native is now guiding the Louisiana- Lafayette attack after transferring from LSU, where he started for the Tigers in 2014 before coming off the bench last season. Jennings, a 6-2, 231-pound senior, has thrown for more than 1,500 yards and he led UL- Lafayette to near upsets of Tulane and New Mexico State this season, the Cajuns falling to the Green Wave 41-39 and to New Mexico State 37-31. Jennings has SEC experience under his belt and the Bulldog secondary will have to be wary of his passing arm Saturday.

ELIJAH MCGUIRE (RB, #15)

McGuire is the Cajuns’ leading ball carrier this season and the 5-11, 209-pound senior, along with QB Jennings, will test the Bulldogs’ defense on Saturday between the hedges. McGuire was chosen as a preseason All-Sun Belt second-team selection and was named to both the Paul Hornung and Doak Walker Award Watch List.

OTHA PETERS (LB, #7)

Another preseason All-Sun Belt selection, this 6-2, 228-pound senior linebacker — a transfer from Arkansas who was named as an All-SEC Freshman while there — teams with also senior linebacker Tre’maine Lightfoot and freshman end Joe Dillon to give the Ragin’ Cajuns three of the most formidable defensive players in the Sun Belt Conference. All three delight in putting pressure on opposing quarterbacks and Georgia’s offensive front will have to be focused on the task at hand in this contest, which is sandwiched right between rivals Auburn and Georgia Tech.

JOE DILLON (DE, #3)

Dillon, 6-3, 220 and just a redshirt freshman, has been particularly disruptive in opposing offensive backfields this season, leading UL-Lafayette in both quarterback sacks and tackles-for-loss. Dillon uses his quickness off the ball to maneuver around bigger O-linemen and, as mentioned, will have to be accounted for when the Bulldogs have the ball Saturday.
