Lane Kiffin (Head Coach) – Another member of the legendary Nick Saban’s coaching tree: Lane Kiffin. Kiffin has been with the Rebels since 2020 and has made waves for the program by successfully recruiting in high school but especially in the transfer portal. He helped bring Ole Miss the No. 1 transfer class in 2024. This past offseason, Kiffin brought in 25 new transfer players. There had been rumors of the head coach potentially leaving Mississippi and taking over the Aluburn job, but they fell through, and Kiffin has remained loyal to his current place of work. He has his team returning to Oxford, Mississippi, after a major SEC road win, ready to take on the Dawgs.
Jaxson Dart (QB #2) – One of the most flashy players statistically in college football is Jaxson Dart. He has thrown for 350+ passing yards in five games this season. With that, in his nine games played so far, Dart has 3,210 passing yards with a 21-3 TD-INT ratio. He plays in one of the more dominant offenses in the sport. The Rebels average 42.11 points per game, and it seems like every weekend brings another great Dart performance.
Tre Harris (WR #9) – WIth incredible quarterback play comes elite statistics from a talented wide receiver room. Ole Miss already has three receivers with over 500 yards receiving on the season. This stat is led heavily by wideout Tre Harris. Harris has 987 yards this year with multiple explosive plays. He’s projected to be a mid first-round pick to an early second round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Georgia’s defensive backs will be tasked with facing a dynamic, air-raid offense, headed by the Tre Harris and Jaxson Dart connection.
Henry Parrish Jr. (RB #21) – Running back No. 1 for Ole Miss has 130 carries on the season. Henry Parrish Jr. has amassed 678 rushing yards with 10 TDs. He initially started his career in Mississippi, but transferred to Miami for a brief period. After two seasons with the Hurricanes, Parrish Jr. returned to the Rebels for his fifth year. He already has a career high season in rushing. He still has plenty of time to show off his talents, and this weekend will provide him the opportunity to do so in front of a home crowd.
Princely Umanmielen (DE #1) – Florida transfer defensive end Princely Umanmielen has a hefty 7.5 sacks in his first season with Ole Miss. He’s in his fifth year in the SEC, and the senior from Austin, Texas is making some money. In addition to his sacks, he also helped recover one fumble for the Rebel defense. He’ll have a competitive drive to show out against his former rivals.
Suntarine Perkins (LB #4) – Perkins is a sophomore and has already garnered some attention as a potential day-two pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. He’s another player with an impressive number of sacks on the year. He averages one per game. Perkins, being the third leader in tackles for the Rebels defense, will be a name to keep an eye on. He also got his first career interception this year against Wake Forest.
Trey Amos (CB #9) -One of the more impressive stat lines seen from a DB, Trey Amos has three interceptions and 11 pass deflections in just nine games. Amos has been the most dominant defensive back all around. In addition to his ability to track down the ball, he has 35 total tackles. He will be a name to look out for as he matches up against Georgia’s wide receiver room.
College Football Hall of Famer Johnny Vaught is the greatest coach in Ole Miss history. Vaught led the Rebels to six SEC titles, and three teams were voted No. 1 in at least one final poll.
Archie Manning is Ole Miss’s most beloved player of all time. The legendary quarterback, who wore No. 18, is so beloved that the speed limit on campus in Oxford is 18 miles per hour.
The Rebels baseball team delivered one of the greatest moments in school lore, winning the 2022 national title, capped with a two-game sweep of Oklahoma in the College World Series Finals.
