The Bulldogs are starting off National Signing Day week with a bang. 2019 defensive end Nolan Smith has announced that he is verbally committing to the University of Georgia.

Although National Signing Day 2019 is a long way out, Smith chose to go ahead and commit to Georgia over Alabama, Miami, South Carolina and Tennessee which he also currently holds offers from. This is UGA’s second commitment for the class of 2019 so far; the other being 6 foot 5 and 275 lbs offensive lineman Luck Griffin from North Murray High School in Chatsworth, GA.

Nolan Smith plays defensive end for Calvary Day out of Savannah, GA, and 247Sports.com ranks the 6 foot 2 and 210 lbs high school sophomore as the No.4 WDE in the class of 2019 and a 4-star prospect. Scout also ranks Smith as a 4-star prospect for 2019.
