Riley Ridley Aims to be a Leader for Team this Season

Riley Ridley spoke to the media on Friday during day 1 of fall camp. The wideout talked about his brother, how he’s progressed since last year and many more other topics. However, his progression is a topic that many find most interesting. After an impressive National Championship game, he proved that he could potentially be the game-changer Georgia needs.
Last season, Ridley caught the ball 14 times for 218 yards and two touchdowns. He appeared in all 14 games as well. However, a player of his talent should double that reception total. Ridley says he’s focused on his studies and becoming a leader for the young guys to look up to, while honing his craft.
“Right now, I’m trying to study and be the man that I can for my team. Just be a leader for the young guys, help out, take a load off of some of the coaches and step it up for the team. I feel like I know what to expect even though coach Smart keeps us on our toes. That’s what I want, I want to be competing, I want to be out on the field, I want to go through it with my brothers.”
