Wims, who graduated from Ed White High School in Jacksonville, Florida and is from Miami, transferred to UGA as a junior from Hinds Community College as a member of the Bulldogs’ 2016 recruiting class. He played in twelve games for Georgia last season and hauled in 17 passes for 190 yards and a touchdown. This season, Wims finds himself the leading Bulldog receiver with 38 catches for 631 yards and six touchdowns and will look to add to that total on New Year’s Day when Georgia takes on Oklahoma in the Rose Bowl College Football Semifinal game.
The 2018 East-West Shrine Game will take place on Saturday, January 20th, 2018 in St. Petersburg, Florida at Tropicana Field at 3:00 p.m. ET on the NFL Network. For more information on the East-West Shrine Game:
