Kirby Smart delivered high praise for Isaac Nauta and Charlie Woerner earlier this week. Georgia’s tight end room may be the deepest position group on the team, and Smart understands that his highly-prized freshmen are big contributors to that depth.

Those guys do a good job competing, there is some really tough competition there. We’re trying to use each one’s strengths. Both Isaac and Charlie have done a tremendous job coming in picking up the system and competing. They don’t look at it like they are freshmen.

Greg is closing in on 15 years writing about and photographing UGA sports. While often wrong and/or out of focus, it has been a long, strange trip full of fun and new friends.

    JohnDanielSobasky  Good call John. Aye.

2003 Georgia had sophomore Martrez Milner, and freshman Leonard Pope. Heck of group right there.

Can either play LT? j/k. Sounds like Kirby and Krew look at the individual player. If the kid is prepared both mentally and physically, he will play regardless of age or class.

That and Nauta nor Woerner look like freshmen either. Looking forward to watching them play. When is the last time Georgia had this much depth and talent at TE?
