Georgia soccer (4-6-1, 0-3 SEC) is set to take on the No. 7 Florida Gators (8-2, 2-1 SEC) Sunday, October 1 at the Turner Soccer Complex. The game is scheduled to start at 6:00 p.m. and will be broadcast live on ESPNU.

Scouting the Gators
Florida comes to Athens as the seventh-ranked team in the nation. The Gators are 2-1 in conference play after falling to Texas A&M, 2-1, then bouncing back to defeat Alabama 3-0 last week.
Florida goalkeeper, Kaylan Marckese leads the SEC in saves per game with an average of 4.75.
In conference games alone, Deanne Rose leads the SEC in points (6) and goals (3).
Competitive 2017 Schedule
Georgia will face seven teams that advanced to the NCAA Tournament at the conclusion of the 2016 season, including Charlotte, Clemson, Florida, Missouri, Samford, South Carolina, and Texas A&M.
Georgia ranks 4th in the NCAA and 2nd in the SEC in strength of schedule of future opponents. Those future opponents have compiled a 51-15-6 record with a .783 winning percentage.
In cumulative strength of schedule, which is the record of past teams in addition to future opponents, the Bulldogs rank third in the SEC and sixth in the NCAA.

Sunday will serve as Fútbol Fiesta night at the Turner Soccer Complex. The first 300 fans will receive a free t-shirt and the match will feature a taco-eating contest at halftime. The Hispanic Student Association and their partner organizations will have booths set up in the plaza area with food samples and educational information about various Latin & South American countries.
