SOFTBALL: Bulldogs Look to Remain Undefeated in Georgia Classic

The Georgia softball team looks to remain undefeated as they host three teams at Jack Turner Stadium for this weekend’s 14th annual Georgia Classic. The Bulldogs will start off this weekend’s tournament with a doubleheader this afternoon. The first game is slated to start at 3:00 p.m. ET versus Northern Kentucky, and the second game of will follow, featuring Louisiana-Monroe.
 
 
The Bulldogs are currently 7-0 on the season. Their latest victims being Presbyterian College in a Wednesday doubleheader in which the Ladies dominated 10-1 and 8-0. Sophomore infielder Alyssa DiCarlo has been on fire hitting 5 home runs and driving in 16 runs on the season so far. Junior pitcher Brittany Gray has dominated opposing batters. In 19 innings pitched, she has struck out 19 and allowed only one earned run.
 
 
Georgia will also host another doubleheader on Saturday starting at 12:30 p.m. ET. Game one will feature opponent Dayton and game two will be another match-up versus Louisiana-Monroe. The Bulldogs will close out the Georgia Classic on Sunday with a second game against Dayton at 1:00 p.m. ET.
