The UGA women’s softball team hosts South Carolina for a three-game weekend series at Jack Turner Stadium, with game one starting at 6:00 p.m. ET this evening.

 
The series marks Georgia’s regular season home finale, and all games can be watched via live stats or on SECNetwork+/WatchESPN. Overflow parking and a shuttle will also be available near the facility.
 
 
Saturday’s game two will be a busy day at Jack Turner Stadium with the team honoring its five seniors prior to the 2:00 p.m. ET first pitch. It is also Strike Out Cancer Day with pink T-shirts available with donation.
 
 
Sunday’s final game of the series is also set for a 2:00 p.m. ET first pitch, as the first 500 fans receive a Nicole Barber bobblehead while it is also Dad and Daughter Day for participants who RSVP at lgibbons@sports.uga.edu.

LOOKING BACK ON THE SERIES AT TEXAS A&M
 
Georgia had another tough opponent last weekend, traveling to No. 4 Texas A&M, as the Aggies took the series. Maeve McGuire had a .700 on-base percentage after reaching with two hits and five walks. Ciara Bryan and Sydni Emanuel led the team with three hits each while Cortni Emanuel led the team with two RBI and a stolen base. In the circle, Kylie Bass pitched well despite taking two losses. The Georgia native went nine frames while holding a potent Aggie offense to just three runs with only one being earned.
 
 
GEORGIA TAKES DOWN GEORGIA STATE
 
The Bulldog bats got off to a hot start, as the offense guided Georgia to an 11-1 win in five innings against Georgia State in the team’s last midweek game of the year. Georgia totaled 14 hits on the night with five Bulldogs notching two hits apiece. Alyssa DiCarlo collected four RBI on her two hits, including a three-run home run to bring in the game-ending runs. Along with DiCarlo, C. Emanuel and Alysen Febrey each scored twice in the contest.
 
 
Amanda Ablan earned the first win of her collegiate career, going the first three innings with two hits, including a solo home run for GSU’s only score. The Georgia native walked three while striking out five. Bass closed it out, going two scoreless frames with two hits and a strikeout.
 
 
SENIORS PLAY HOME FINALE AGAINST SOUTH CAROLINA
 
The weekend marks the final games for five seniors on Georgia’s roster. Bekah Farris, Lindsey Miles, Kayleigh Medlin, Maeve McGuire and Sydni Emanuel will all be honored prior to Saturday’s game. The team holds 169 wins and been to three Super Regionals and the Women’s College World Series over their career, though Farris and McGuire are the only four-year seniors.
 
 
DICKEY FINDING HER WAY TO BASE
 
Sophomore Brea Dickey has made her way to base in the last 11 games, giving her a new career high for reaching base safely in consecutive games. Dickey has reached via four hits and three walks as well as by error twice. Her 11-game streak is currently a team high, as McGuire follows with an eight-game streak.
