With bad weather imminent on the Bulldogs game against the South Carolina Gamecocks, Sony Michel is prepared and ready to get the game underway.
As a south Florida native, Sony Michel is used to games getting moved due to bad weather and he is prepared to weather the storm and play the game under harsh conditions.
Michel went on to mention that he has played in games in the past that had to be moved due to questionable weather and he is very familiar with the brutal conditions that hurricanes can cause due to being a native of Miami.
However, the weather and the uncertainty of the time of the game does not concern Michel too much and he understands that regardless of when and where the game is played, the team must execute if they want to get a win.
Michel went on to highlight how the team was able to get the running game going in the Bulldog’s last game and how playing physical football played a large part in the team’s success.
The key to running the ball you have to be patient…We knew that(the running game) was gonna be a little shaky at the beginning and we just had to be patient and eventually lanes would start opening up
Michel also commented on freshman Brian Herrian’s success and complimented him for having great awareness on the field and Michel said he believes Herrian will be a great running back for the Bulldogs.
Michel seems solely focused on this game and it will be interesting to see what sort of success he has against the Gamecocks defense.
