Sony Michel said in his post-practice interview yesterday that Georgia’s running back room strives hardest to avoid the label “soft” when being graded (03:07 mark in the video below).
Every day, day in and day out, we have scrimmages, we get graded. Throughout practice, when we’re watching film, we get graded on how we are performing, and one of the biggest categories in our room that we don’t want to be on is ‘soft.’ If you have that soft category, whether you’re blocking or running, you gotta go out there and kind of be a beast.
We all just kind of focus on NOT being the soft player. Everybody wants to go out there and be hard.
