Senior Sony Michel discusses the 40-17 loss to Auburn and takes responsibility for the undisciplined penalties that he and the Georgia team uncharacteristically committed on Saturday. The tailback says they have to move on from the loss and get ready for the next game.
“Discipline is something that we have to focus on. We just had some undisciplined penalties, including myself, and that can’t happen,” said Sony. “We have to take full responsibility. Passion gets mixed in with emotions and sometimes you make bad decisions. You have to eliminate those to win games.”
Sony added, “They were more physical up front. Our goal is to come out and be more physical, and we didn’t do that today. We need to go back and fix that and move on.”
