The Georgia baseball team will face Kennesaw State this afternoon for a 5:00 p.m. ET dance on the diamond at Stillwell Stadium.

The Bulldogs (8-13) will use a staff approach on the mound starting with freshman right-hander Zac Kristofak (0-1, 6.30 ERA). The Owls (8-11) have not announced a starter. KSU was swept at home by Oklahoma this past weekend while Georgia dropped three games at sixth-ranked LSU in Baton Rouge. Back on Feb. 28 at Foley Field, the Owls hit three home runs and posted a 5-4 win over Georgia. As part of a staff day on the mound, KSU used seven pitchers while the Bulldogs employed six. In the all-time series with KSU, it’s tied at 10-all. Georgia beat KSU 4-2 last year in Kennesaw.
