The Bulldogs are coming off another bye week after defeating the Kentucky Wildcats 21-0 on homecoming. It’s week No. 10 of the college football season, and Kirby’s Bulldogs are looking for win number eight on the season and three-in-a-row over Florida. The Bulldawg Illustrated staff have your score predictions for the 98th Georgia-Florida game down in Jacksonville.

Hamilton Culpepper: Florida 27 – Georgia 20

“Give me the Gators. Dawgs work some problems out but can’t find a way to win… 27-20 :(“

Jeff Dantzler: Georgia 19 – Florida 18

Georgia in a nailbiter, 19-18

Rebecca Gemes: Georgia 31 – Florida 17

“The offense gets back on track with Swift leading the way and Cager returns from his injury (fingers crossed— I adore him!) to help Fromm. And finally, the defense bends… but does not break. 31-17 Georgia! Go Dawgs!!!”

Josh Hancher: Georgia 30 – Florida 13

“UGA definitely needs to improve offensively to defeat our toughest opponent to date. Gators are not better on offense as the Dawgs – even after the last two performances. UF is under their season average YPP against their last 3 opponents.”

“On top of that, the national media has been “praising” the Gator’s loss to LSU and can’t say a good word about Dawgs or Fromm these days. Which brings me to something the Philly tailback said recently: “Whoever counting us out can’t count,” D’Andre Swift.”

“DawgStats can count… Dawgs 100 – Gators 3… “FTMF” – Coach Smart… OK. OK. The powers that be stipulated I play nice and submit a “realistic” prediction; so, gimme the Dawgs 30-13 over the Lizards.”

Caroline Kinney: Georgia 31 – Florida 24

“31-24, Dawgs win, with Fromm playing out of his mind, inspired by all the little trick-or-treaters dressed as HIM for Halloween.”

Cheri Leavy: Georgia 24 – Florida 22

“24-22 with the Dawgs winning the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party on and off the field. Woof woof woof! Go Fromm!”

Vance Leavy: Georgia 42 – Florida 20

“Earlier this week I predicted on Jeff Dantzler’s Athens radio show (The Home Team) a Georgia 62-10 thrashing of the Gators. Boy, wouldn’t that be fun? Four days later, I’m a little more cautious. However, I still think the much-maligned Georgia offense will show out on the banks of the St. Johns. The Georgia D will have some problems early with Dan Mullen’s schemes but then will adjust and shutdown the not so Mighty Gators in the final quarters… Georgia 42  Florida 20, Woof, Woof, Woof!!!”

Lance McCurley: Georgia 52 – Florida 17

🙂

Bob Miller: Georgia 24 – Florida 17

“I’m going to keep this one short and sweet, and it is this simple. Both teams have very good defenses; however, Georgia is the more talented team and if they don’t turn the ball over or if they win the turnover margin, Dawgs win 24-17.”

Matthew Pasek: Georgia 23 – Florida 16

“Georgia has not played their “A” game yet this season.  The defense has been solid but not spectacular.  Explosive plays for the offense have been few and far in between. However, Coach Smart has shown the ability to rally the team once the national media writes the Dawgs off.  Georgia 23 – Florida 16.”

Greg Poole: Georgia 37 – Florida 17

“The USCe result has left me a bit perplexed about this team, but the trip to the WLOCP will tell the season’s tale. I remain a believer but fear something is missing. Kirby wills this one as the offense takes over late behind a punishing offensive line and the defense continues to shut down the run. Dawgs 37 – obnoxious reptiles 17…”

Murray Poole: Georgia 28 – Florida 21

“These 2019 Bulldogs haven’t lived up to their No. 3 preseason ranking and haven’t come anywhere close to being the “best team in UGA history,” the tag some were putting on Georgia prior to the opening game at Vanderbilt. That said, it’s time for this team to bring it together and play its first complete game of the season. Down in Jacksonville, with the highly-touted O-line also finally living up to its “best in the nation” billing, the Bulldogs pound the Gators up front and enable D’Andre Swift to have a monster game as Georgia gains the inside track to a third consecutive SEC East title. Georgia 28, Florida 21″
