[su_spacer size=”20″] Bulldawg Illustrated is counting down the days till the Dawgs kickoff their college football season in Bulldawgs Countdown to Kickoff 2015, and we are down to number 13 Marshall Morgan.

[su_spacer size=”20″] Marshall Morgan is a senior place kicker for the Georgia Bulldawgs. A graduate of American Heritage high school out of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, where he played varsity football for Jeff Dellenbach, Morgan is a member of the Dawgs 2012 recruiting class. As a freshman, Morgan played in all 14 games for UGA during the 2012 season going 63 for 67 on PATs and 8 for 14 on FGs with a long of 52 versus Missouri.

[su_spacer size=”40″] Morgan improved his numbers kicking the ball for the Dawgs in 2013. As a sophomore place kicker, he booted a perfect 47 for 47 on PATs and only missed two FGs all season, going 22 for 24 which included a 55 yard FG versus LSU and a 56 yarder versus Tennessee. Last year, as a junior, the Georgia kicker only missed one PAT going 67 for 68 and went 16 for 21 on FGs with a long of 53 against Charleston Southern.

[su_spacer size=”40″] Going into the 2015 season, the senior kicker is looking to help the Dawgs back to the SEC championship and a possible College Football Playoff berth with his leg. He has been named to Athlon Sports Preseason All-SEC Second Team and to Phil Steel’s Preseason All-SEC Fourth Team.
