Daily Dawg Thread 20 March 2020: Georgia offered wide receiver Malcolm Johnson, Jr.

The University of Georgia offered St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes School 2021 wide receiver Malcolm Johnson, Jr. on Tuesday, earlier this week.

With the offer from the Bulldogs, Johnson now has over 22 total so far including from Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Ohio State, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia to name a few.

In addition to playing at wide receiver and cornerback for the Saints of Alexandria, VA varsity high school football team where he hauled in 47 receptions for 832 yards and 7 touchdowns as a junior in 2019, he also competes in track and field. This past December at the DCIAA Indoor Invitational in Prince George’s County, Maryland, Johnson took first in the 55-meter sprint with a time of 6.44 seconds and also took first in the 200-meter event with a time of 22.19. 

 

 

 

 

247Sports rates the 6-foot-1 and 185 lbs athlete a four-star prospect at wide receiver for the 2021 recruiting class. ESPN and Rivals also rate Johnson a four-star prospect at WR for 2021.
