NEWS:

Ga’Quincy McKinstry is a four-star cornerback from Pinson, Alabama. He is 6-1 and 175 pounds. According to the latest  2021 247Sports rankings, he ranks as the No. 30 overall prospect, the No. 2 CB and the No. 1 player in Alabama. McKinstry currently holds eight offers with the latest coming from Virginia on Nov. 13. He visited Clemson for an unofficial visit on Oct. 22. Before that, he went to Alabama on Sept. 22, Auburn on July 28 and Auburn again on June 3. Georgia offered back on March 31. This season, McKinstry recorded 30 tackles and five interceptions. There is still a long way to go, but the Auburn Tigers hold the early lead here. Georgia will likely pursue him, but we will see if McKinstry shows interest back toward the Bulldogs.

NEWS:

Corey Collier is a four-star cornerback from Miami, Florida. He is 6-2 and 170 pounds. According to the latest 2021 247Sports rankings, he ranks as the No. 35 overall prospect, the No. 3 CB and the No. 4 player in Florida.  Collier currently holds 24 offers with the latest coming from Florida and Pittsburgh on Oct. 15. He visited Miami on Oct. 6 and Sept. 22. James Coley took a visit with him on Sept. 28. The Bulldogs offered back on Jan. 31. Collier’s 247Sports profile says that FSU holds 100 percent of the advantage, but  It is still early for this one. With the way Georgia continues to recruit in South Florida, it wouldn’t surprise me to see yet another Georgia/Miami battle. He is a name to keep an eye out for in the 2021 class.
