Georgia Football: Monday Practice Report

Cut block drill
Here are some takeaways from today’s practice.
— It was a physical practice today especially with the OLB’s as they were taking on blockers in a drill going full speed. The pads were popping as some walk-ons were running into the OLB’s full speed. Kirby was eyeing them down and was really preaching physicality today.
— Andrew Thomas was practicing and appears to be fine. Still has his ankle wrapped up.
— Jackson Harris was participating in drills and should dress out and most likely play Saturday.
— Monty Rice had a brace on his right knee but was full go and appears to be healthy.
— As mentioned yesterday Ben Cleveland is out 4-6 weeks with a fractured fibula.
— Cade Mays was seen working at 1st team right guard in place of Cleveland. Justin Shaffer originally replaced Cleveland during the Missouri game so expect the competition to be between these two.
— Tyler Simmons was not out there despite Smart saying that he may be practicing today.
— Also Tyson Campbell who has a stomach bug against Missouri Saturday appeared to be 100%.
