Walter Grant has announced his commitment to the University of Georgia.

 
Grant is a 6 foot 4 and 236 lbs linebacker prospect out of Cairo High School, Cairo, GA. He has a number of scholarship offers from FBS college programs including Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, and Kentucky.
 

 
Walter Grant is ranked as a 4-star prospect at outside linebacker by 247Sports.com’s composite ranking system, and a top 15 player at his position for the class of 2017. ESPN and Scout.com also rank Grant as as 4-star prospect. Rivals.com lists him as 3-star prospect. Grant is also a top ESPN300 and Scout100 player.
 
 
Walter Grant is Georgia’s sixteenth commitment overall and their second outside linebacker commitment for the 2017 class which includes Westlake High School, Atlanta, GA’s Jaden Hunter.
