Isaiah Wynn’s Motivation for Tech: “Those are Guys we Don’t Want to Lose to.”

According to senior tackle, Isaiah Wynn, it doesn’t take much to motivate the team for Georgia Tech. Wynn mentions it’s Tech, they don’t like losing to them, so that’s motivation enough.

He talks about rivalry week and how this matchup is just as important as an SEC game. Despite the team going to Atlanta to face the SEC West champion, the team has its sights on winning the state championship and getting back The Governors Cup. When asked what the motivation is for this week, Wynn gave a simple answer.

“Beating Georgia Tech,” Wynn says. “Just because those are the guys we don’t want to lose to. Of course, it’s a big rivalry, it’s rivalry weekend. Definitely not a game you want to lose, whether you’re going to the championship or not.”

As one of the senior leaders, Wynn seems focused on defeating the Yellow Jackets and keeping this “business trip” going. In the last game of the revenge tour, its obvious the team has plenty of motivation going into Saturday.
