The University of Georgia had a big recruiting weekend for the football program hosting a number of prospects from around the country, and the incoming freshman from the Bulldogs most recent 2017 recruiting class got treated to a ‘day on the lake’ by Head Coach Kirby Smart.

2017 signee and freshman wide receiver Jeremiah “J.J.” Holloman posted a short video clip on his Twitter account of him and Netori Johnson along with some of their fellow freshmen teammates blowing off some steam and just had a good old fashioned fun time on the water on Sunday.

But the young “pups” didn’t let a little water stand in way of their competitive spirit as shown in freshman defensive back William Poole’s Tweet.

And Poole’s fellow defensive back, Richard LeCounte III, was all smiles.

Coach Smart also treated last year’s 2016 incoming freshmen to a ‘day on the lake;’ so, is this going to become a regular tradition for Kirby’s Dawgs like former Head Coach Mark Richt’s pool day?

Georgia will look to get back to the grind during fall practice starting in August, preparing for their 2017 campaign which will get kicked off by the Dogs home opener against Appalachian State on September 2nd.
