It is hard to believe that this 2015 college football season is almost over, and what a season it has been for University of Georgia football! Before the season started, there was so much anticipation and excitement as to what this college football season would bring, and it certainly started off on the right foot with a 4-0 September.

However, October came in on dark and stormy clouds and left Bulldawg Nation trying to pick up the pieces with a 1-3 performance. Yet, all was not lost, and this 2015 squad of Dawgs barked, bit, and fought their way through November finishing the regular season with 4 wins to put Georgia at 9-3 on the year.

Now, three weeks out from the last regular season game, Georgia finds itself with a new head coach and its former coach of 15 years wearing new colors of green, orange and white soaking up the rays in south Florida at the U. Mark Richt’s resignation ushered in a new era at UGA when Alabama’s Defensive Coordinator for the last 8 years, Kirby Smart, was hired to come back home to Georgia to mend the fences.

The next few weeks should be both exciting and filled with trepidation as Coach Smart hires his staff; especially who is retained off the current staff and who will coach the bowl game; and how that affects the up-and-coming recruiting 2016 recruiting class. But as we look and wait to see how events will transpire and as the Dawgs prepare for the to take on the Penn State Nittany Lions down in Jacksonville, Florida, please enjoy Bulldawg Illustrated’s latest print issue, our TaxSlayer Bowl Preview, Smart Move, Welcome Home Kirby. You’ll never know who you’ll meet in Bulldawg Illustrated!
