If SEC Media Days is the unofficial start of the college football season, the whistle will blow tomorrow morning in Hoover, AL. The Hyatt Regency Birmingham – Wynfrey Hotel will again host the media feeding frenzy as coaches and players deliver predictable answers to softball questions from the credentialed hordes in attendance.
The most interesting area during SECMD might just be the hotel lobby as fans, the ‘obsessed’ and the ‘certifiable’ gather to, ostensibly, catch a glimpse of players and coaches. For many lobby denizens, however, getting noticed by the assembled media is on their agenda, if not heading it.
Here is the schedule of appearances and TV coverage:
Birmingham, Ala. — The Southeastern Conference today announced its annual football media days will take place July 10-13, held again at the Hyatt Regency Birmingham – Wynfrey Hotel in Hoover, Ala. The SEC Network and ESPN will once again be on site to bring SEC Media Days to a national audience.
