AlphaDawg Greg Poole PTCDawg Not me.  Both great granddad’s and granddad and grandmother on dad’s side, dad, two older sisters all beat me and my younger sister.  🙂  Educated family.

Anything will be better than the Transformer crap we wore the last time.

  3. BahitsAgain

Greg Poole AlphaDawg more likely, the agent is forcing the hold out for more salary which equates to more commission.

Most agents don’t give a jack about the athlete.

  4. Reddawg13

Bulldawg36 I don’t care what color britches we have on as long as there is a can of whup ass in the pockets!

  5. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole Like P.T. Barnum once famously said…  “There’s a Sucker born every minute”  Send me your 800.00 and a five minute video of your kid and I’ll tell you if you have a pro athlete or not!

  6. Reddawg13

MMCSDAWG RafaRich I too supported CMR and towards the end caught hell from some friends. The last three years I lost faith and confidence and was ready for him to go. But I wanted Gary Patterson. Thank God I didn’t get to choose! Welcome home Kirby, you absolutely get it and got it!

  7. MMCSDAWG

AlphaDawg LOL….  Looking at this photo the first thing that popped into my head was dang that Mizzou player is short!  Looks like a mighty-mite out there with some big boys!

  8. AlphaDawg

Greg Poole AlphaDawg I typed the first comment into the new comment box at the top. Not sure how it got under this video…

  9. Greg Poole

Bulldawg36  That will not be for a while – maybe August, if we don’t get access to the camps this summer

AlphaDawg FB vids are better on a number of fronts. They still don’t put traffic on your site for monetization. Promotes the personalities rather than the brand, IMHO.

Hangouts on Air is a much more sensible platform because the vid plays on your site and then is saved in your YT channel. The audio can easily be stripped for upload as a podcast.

My invoice is in the mail, AJC.

  11. Bulldawg36

Ask em about the silver britches the next time you get to interview him if you can.

  12. AlphaDawg

Greg Poole Hey EC, looks like the AJC has already switched over to Facebook Video for their live streams. We discussed a while back about the trolls on periscope not making it very business friendly. Once FB came out with a similar product it seemed like a no brainer. Hold the people accountable for having an account on FB their a lot less likely to act like an azz

  13. Bulldawg36

I will be highly ticked off if we ain’t wearing the real silver britches in the GA dome!!!!!!!

  14. AlphaDawg

DawgLink Yes he was. If there was anything you could rely on with Murray it was him giving all he had in the last drive of the game. That boy could move the chains.

  15. MMCSDAWG

RafaRich MMCSDAWG Pretty much the same Rafa…  I was one of those that felt the administration had left CMR out to dry and was just as complicit as he was.  And I wasn’t 100% sold on CKS being selected as our new HC either, but dang he has done nothing but amaze me since he took the job!

  16. Greg Poole

MMCSDAWG I called the old BITR a ‘run off drill’. Coach trying to see who he could run off (make quit).
The version you are describing makes sense

  17. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole MMCSDAWG We used it occasionally in a little different manor, we would put everyone in a circle and give a ball to one of the players, assign on player to block and the other player was the defensive player and his job was to beat the blocker and tackle the running back.  It would take some kids forever to win against the offensive guys, and some would give up, but it did have a teaching purpose of how to beat a blocker and make a tackle in the open field.  We never actually ran the “old-fashioned’ bull in the ring like we did in HS.

  18. RumRunnerDoogie

Greg Poole MMCSDAWG had a lot of fights because of OK drills back in high school with me haha

  19. DawgLink

Murray was a 2 minute master. If you needed to score, he made it happen. Hopefully Eason will do the same

  20. Greg Poole

MMCSDAWG I never used it as a coach. OK drills are just as effective in the toughness dept. and have skill improvement aspects for OL. We used to sometimes add a LB and a blocking back too. To really give the OL a workout we would signal to the DL/LB which direction the OL was going to block. That would also increase the frustration level and number of fights though

  21. RafaRich

MMCSDAWG RafaRich Yea, no doubt whatsoever now. I did not want CMR fired, but I did have alot of issues on things he did/did not do. I was very against Kirby being hired because of the perception that he turned us down a few times and recruited negatively against us. But he sure has alleviated any fears or concerns that I have had since his hire. He is awesome and his PROCESS is just incredible. All that is left is to develop the talent and win big time. Everything else he has proven that he gets it.

  22. MMCSDAWG

RafaRich Kirby gets it!  He is making his own way at UGA and so far, I have to admit, I am very impressed!

  23. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole RumRunnerDoogie Exactly how it was done in my days in HS as well.  The only meaningful skill being taught back in our day was to make you meaner and keep your head on a swivel!  I can’t tell you how many fights were had on the football field as a result of the aftermath of the Bull in the ring…  keeping your head on a swivel is a useful skill though, especially for the younger kids.  Of course we stopped using this drill about 5-6 years into my coaching experience, but it is important to teach those youngsters to keep their head on a swivel or they are going to get CLOCKED!

  24. AlphaDawg

RumRunnerDoogie AlphaDawg Greg Poole Just shows how full of it Butch is. He was doing Oklahoma drills before the spring game last year

  25. Greg Poole

RumRunnerDoogie Well, our coach just called numbers on opposite sides of the ring. You were gonna get blasted.
