Bulldawg Bob2 RumRunnerDoogie they could, still find it hard to believe considering the pressure to stay in state tho

  2. RumRunnerDoogie

Bulldawg Bob2 RumRunnerDoogie be nice to be able to pull one or two good players from bama

  3. Bulldawg Bob2

    RumRunnerDoogie also several 2018 prospects:

    WR Justyn Ross
    DT Deanthony Miles
    DB David Copeland

  4. Bulldawg Bob2

While UGA had a good day on the diamond, the Atlanta Braves did not. Lost to Red Sox 11-4

  5. Bulldawg Bob2

willypmd  There you go Willy. He’s a very nice young man when I’ve spoken to him. Seems like a good kid.

I may be living in Gardendale for a few months this summer, I’ll have to bring a go Dawgs sign to Kevin Howard’s home games…

  7. DawgDaddy

BahitsDawg then he could hate it in his heart of hearts years later, just ask Calvin Johnson.  Of course he would never admit it but you know he thinks it.

  8. Bulldawg Bob2

Hobnailboot aka RobG Bulldawg Bob2 Bulldawg36 While he isn’t very tall, he is built very stocky. He is over 200 lbs in the 209 lbs range. He is stouter than either Anthony McFarland Jr or Khalan Laborn, both of whom are in that 5 foot 9 range, but not quite 200 lbs.

  9. Bulldawg Bob2

1mandawgpack Bulldawg Bob2 Bulldawg36  Correct 1man. Swift is considered one of the top AP back for 2017.

  10. Bulldawg Bob2

1mandawgpack CLTDawg Hobnailboot aka RobG Bulldawg Bob2 Bulldawg36  Aye. Akers is a heck of a football player and athlete. He is built tough.

  11. Bulldawg Bob2

RumRunnerDoogie DawgByte  Correct. Thankfully we didn’t lose the BD Illustrated Zippy, but unfortunately we lost the “Zippy” he chose his username after. The legendary two sport star from the 50’s Joseph Zippy Morocco.

Georgia also lost another legend from around that era  James Thomas “Jack” Roberts.

CLTDawg DawgByte idk its just such a strange recruitment all around, seem to be little of drob actually talking to the media. Now i dont know much about his brother, but he seems to want whats best for drob.

  13. RumRunnerDoogie

genius of the day goes to a robber in DC, was fleeing the police and jumped a fence and ended up being the west fence of the White House

  14. Hobnailboot aka RobG

I doubt very seriously we could land all 3, that would be some serious recruiting

  15. 1mandawgpack

Bulldawg36  I believe he made his decision to leave long before CKS was announced as our head coach as, after the Florida game, he got no further consideration for playing QB at UGA and decided to take his talents elsewhere.  Also, I never stated that he was good, only that 2 of the picks in Jax were caused by poor routes by the WR.

All that said, I agree with @CLTDawg that he got a raw deal being thrown into the game in Jax with no real chance of success given that the coaches decided to not let a mobile QB actually be mobile.  From everything I’ve heard, he is a great guy and hard worker, so I hope he gets a chance to play in a conference that will better fit his skillset and that he is able to help himself and Coach Bobo be successful as they’re both DGDs.

  16. Bulldawg36

If y’all think he is so good- then why did he leave when he could of had a fresh start with Kirby. Kirby said he is open to a mobile qb. Beating out Ramsey and lambert is doable

  17. CLTDawg

DawgByte CLTDawg It’s a tough spot, because I think a lot of it is because of his brother, not DRob himself…and it’s a lot of pressure on a 17-18 year old to not go with what his family wants him to do…but I agree there has to be a de-crutment period for sure.

  18. DawgByte

CLTDawg I hope he commits to UGA. Having said that… if I was Kirby Smart I’d have the kid running Sanford stadium steps for a week in the August heat. Do I really need to explain why?

  19. CLTDawg

The timing of DRobs announcement being moved up is great for us, IMO. He’s going to be in Athens this weekend already for a track meet, and might have a chance to visit with coaches some more while he’s in town, and then he’ll be announcing the NEXT DAY in Atlanta? We’re getting the final word with him and another chance to remind him of his fit with the Dawgs.

Glad to know the long recruitment is about to be over, but I’ve got a great feeling about DRob coming to the Dawgs.

  20. CLTDawg

1mandawgpack CLTDawg Bulldawg36 I felt terrible for him. I know the results were what they were, and we can’t make excuses, but it really seemed like he got a raw deal looking back on that game. Everyone talked about how he was such a hard worker, good leader, and his teammates loved him…and the coaches just kind of put him out there without any individualized preparation that would help his playing style succeed against one of the top 10 defenses in the country. Hate that it caused so many fans to write him off as a bad player, because he put in a lot of work and time for the program while he was here. DGD.

  21. 1mandawgpack

CLTDawg Bulldawg36  Agree – two picks in that game were caused by poor routes by the WR as Bauta placed the ball where they should have been.  Plus, as a former WR, it takes a lot of time to develop chemistry with a QB and Bauta did not run with the 1s most of the year and really never had an opportunity to develop that chemistry.

  22. CLTDawg

Bulldawg36 Can’t judge him off one game though, he was thrown to the wolves against Florida with a bad gameplan that they didn’t adjust once we got behind. Hard for anyone to succeed in their first start like that.

  23. 1mandawgpack

CLTDawg Hobnailboot aka RobG Bulldawg Bob2 Bulldawg36  Akers is one solid guy to be playing QB in high school.  Dude looks like a middle linebacker.

  24. 1mandawgpack

CLTDawg Bulldawg36  Correct, the date for signing a national LOI has passed.  Unfortunately, he has no legal obligation to attend the school that he verbally commits to on Sunday.  Much like the LB last year, it’s not legal until he shows up on campus and enrolls in school

  25. CLTDawg

Hobnailboot aka RobG Bulldawg Bob2 Bulldawg36 There’s a possibility that we take all three of them…but I’m very very skeptical about Akers. His recruitment will go down to the wire on NSD, and being in a fight with Ole Miss at the final hour shouldn’t sit well with anybody.

  26. CLTDawg

websater HUGE! My second favorite back in this class after Akers. Would be a big time get. Love his versatility.
