TODAY’S FEATURED PROSPECTS

*All Rankings are in accordance to 247Sports Rankings*

Jalani Williams

CLASS: 2019
POSITION: S
HT, WT: 6-2, 170
SCHOOL: Parkway North High School
CITY, STATE: Saint Louis, MO
STATUS: Undeclared
# OF OFFERS: 25 offers
UGA OFFER: Yes, December 20, 2017
NEWS:
Jalani Williams is a 6-2 170-pound safety from Saint Louis Missouri. He is a four-star, ranks as the No. 21 safety in the country and the No. 6 prospect in Missouri. According to William’s hudl, he runs a 4.57 forty-yard dash. He’s a big-time safety that Georgia appears to be hunting. Williams has great vision and has a long stride. He would be tough for any wide receiver to go up against. Williams hits hard and knows his assignments well. While watching his film, I notice that he’s got long arms and causes havoc with every receiver he faces. He’s going to make a great addition to any secondary at the next level and will only get better with the right development.
Williams holds 25 offers, with the latest coming from LSU on May 10th. He visited Illinois’s Junior Day on February 18th after Oklahoma’s Junior Day on February 17th. He visited Oklahoma on April 14. Williams released his top eight on March 2nd. Georgia made the cut along with Alabama, FSU, Missouri, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Penn State. It doesn’t appear that any of these teams hold the lead over the other. Williams took a visit to Georgia back in January, and I expect him to be back on campus sooner than later.

Derek Stingley

CLASS: 2019
POSITION: CB
HT, WT: 6-0, 193
SCHOOL: Dunham School
CITY, STATE: Baton Rouge, LA
STATUS: Undeclared
# OF OFFERS: 31 offers
UGA OFFER: Yes, April 15, 2017
NEWS:
Derek Stingley is a five-star cornerback from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and He comes in at  6-0 170 pounds. Stingley ranks as the No.13 overall player, No. 1 cornerback and the No. 2 prospect in Louisiana.  The first thing that stands out to me is that he runs a 4.30 forty-yard dash. That speed is a hot commodity, and Stingley has it.
Stingley holds 32 offers with the latest coming from Oregon on April 2. Stingley released his top-6 on March 11. Georgia made the cut along with LSU, Michigan, Texas, Florida, and Stanford. Stingley recommitted to LSU on June 20. I think its a done deal now, but it wouldn’t surprise me to see him start visiting if LSU’s season doesn’t go as planned.
