With National Signing Day for the 2017 college football recruiting class in the books, attention has turned to next year’s 2018 recruiting class as well as the crop of 2019 prospects. And the weekend reflected that for the Georgia football program as they held Junior Day on Saturday, February 18th, with many of the top prospects from the class of 2018 and 2019 on hand; a number of which were entertained at the men’s basketball game Saturday evening at Stegeman Coliseum between the Bulldogs and Kentucky. UGA also picked up a commitment from 2019 defensive line prospect Rashad Cheney, Jr. on Saturday.
