The dead period ended at the stroke of midnight on Wednesday night, and the Georgia coaching staff along with the rest of the schools fueled-up their buses, cars, and planes and struck out on the road and through the air yesterday to visit prized recruiting prospects.

Defensive Line Coach Tracy Rocker and Outside Linebackers Coach Kevin Sherrer were on a mission in Lee County visiting one of the top players in the state in 2017 defensive tackle Aubrey Solomon. Head Coach Kirby Smart and Offensive Coordinator Jim Chaney made their way to Cartersville High School to visit with 2018 QB and current Clemson commit Trevor Lawrence. Offensive Line Coach Sam Pittman headed north to visit with a 2018 offensive tackle, Qadir White, out of Bronx, New York. Staff members also reportedly visited with 2017 OL/DL prospect Tedarrell Slayton down in south Florida and 2018 RB Zamir White in North Carolina.
