JaxDawg My guess on Terrell is its just a numbers game with the CB guys and doesnt reflect a change of interest. Honestly I dont think we take 7 DBs so someone thinking we are going to get Jacoby, DeAngelo and Jamyest..well that puts us at 6 so we dont have room. But I think Kirby is happy to take AJ if he wants to come. Just cant see AJ being intimidated by Brini to the point of it affecting his college decision.

  2. RobDawg

But this Twitter announcement graphic is in a nice shade of red and black – foreshadowing?

  3. RumRunnerDoogie

JaxDawg we know smart wants to play some smash mouth football and with the QBs they are after (have) slingin it wont be a problem

  4. RumRunnerDoogie

Hobnailboot aka RobG RumRunnerDoogie dawgmum Bulltoad JaxDawg yea and i doubt they know each other well. Cant blame them for wanting a big moment to themselves

  5. JaxDawg

Yea I think with good coaching, S&C, and a beastly OL, a solid RB can do some damage

  6. Hobnailboot aka RobG

RumRunnerDoogie Hobnailboot aka RobG dawgmum Bulltoad JaxDawg the more I think about it the more I doubt it would happen, kinda takes away the spotlight for both

  7. RumRunnerDoogie

Hobnailboot aka RobG RumRunnerDoogie JaxDawg could of been, just remember he wasnt the RB everyone talked about in that UGA class

  8. RumRunnerDoogie

Hobnailboot aka RobG dawgmum Bulltoad JaxDawg ehh maybe, cant remember a dual commit video tho

  9. Avon Barksdale

Behind the line that Pittman is building, Swift and Carter will be just fine!!

  10. Hobnailboot aka RobG

dawgmum Hobnailboot aka RobG Bulltoad JaxDawg maybe he and Thomas are gonna do a video where they both commit…..fingers crossed

  11. dawgmum

Hobnailboot aka RobG Bulltoad JaxDawg He said he was still going to commit at the Opening, just not on Friday.

  12. RumRunnerDoogie

Hobnailboot aka RobG RumRunnerDoogie Greg Poole i always wondered why they seem to go off and run like car dealerships and pretty random jobs after the NFL

  13. Hobnailboot aka RobG

RumRunnerDoogie Hobnailboot aka RobG Greg Poole Kevin gets like 200 grand a year for the rest of his life….he’ll make way more off his retirement than he made salary

  14. JaxDawg

Yea that’s true, I say get carter and hopefully swift and call it a day. Then go balls to the wall for Zamir

  15. MMCSDAWG

About dang time. She’s a crook. Be like hosea Williams in Atlanta get re elected while doing time. Ridiculous

  16. RumRunnerDoogie

Hobnailboot aka RobG RumRunnerDoogie Greg Poole i honestly didnt know that had a retirement package

  17. Hobnailboot aka RobG

RumRunnerDoogie Hobnailboot aka RobG Greg Poole I knew they have been together for a while, I think since HS……even the league minimum is a stout salary, and if he is in the league for 5 years he is eligible for a serious retirement package….I used to work for a guy that was a back up C for the 49ers and he stayed in the league just long enough to get his retirement package and he is set

  18. Bulltoad

Hobnailboot aka RobG JaxDawg I would guess it is more related to his committment video than anything else.

  19. RumRunnerDoogie

JaxDawg i dont really look into RB rankings anymore after chubb and gurley. Now they are right about some like fournette

  20. RumRunnerDoogie

JaxDawg really would of liked having cam but carter aint chopped liver either

  21. JaxDawg

Looks like with the addition of Brini we pushed AJ toward Clemson, he got another CB there. Cam shows up in an Ohio state hat so he’s more than likely gone. Tonsil is apparently rescheduling his announcement UGH cmon Thomas we need you this weekend!! That will put a smile on my face

  22. haws1178

Watching Arky T a&m replay on SEC network. You can drive a truck through the holes that the Oline is opening up

  23. BahitsDawg

Hobnailboot aka RobG MMCSDAWG btw, legal – not political – if the feds indicted her after their incompetence this week, then she must have killed someone on tv.

All Animals are Equal, but Some Animals are more Equal than Others.

  24. RumRunnerDoogie

BahitsDawg RumRunnerDoogie DawgDaddy Hobnailboot aka RobG MMCSDAWG havent voted in jax yet lol. If that happened it would be because i would be seeing doubles and check the wrong one

  25. BahitsDawg

RumRunnerDoogie DawgDaddy Hobnailboot aka RobG MMCSDAWG come on Rum.  We know you proudly voted for her…. after 3 bottles of rock gut rum.

  26. Hobnailboot aka RobG

BahitsDawg Hobnailboot aka RobG MMCSDAWG at least she isn’t one of them

  27. BahitsDawg

Hobnailboot aka RobG MMCSDAWG I wish there was a HATE button.  We have some really embarrassing representatives….. representing us.  sighhhh

  28. RumRunnerDoogie

DawgDaddy Hobnailboot aka RobG MMCSDAWG and congresswoman of the south sliver of jax..sadly

  29. DawgDaddy

Hobnailboot aka RobG MMCSDAWG So sad, she is the pride of the Florida Education System.  So eloquent and such a riveting speaker.

  30. RumRunnerDoogie

Hobnailboot aka RobG Greg Poole been together since UAB so its not like she was chasing the money dream haha. he will be a good special teamer

  31. Hobnailboot aka RobG

Greg Poole She’s a cutie, Mr. Ganus you definitely outkicked your coverage on that one….

  32. RumRunnerDoogie

Greg Poole RobDawg i think thats what they just scraped out of the bottom of the fermenting jar

  33. Hobnailboot aka RobG

DawgDaddy MMCSDAWG Bulldawg36 Brasstown Valley isn’t very far either

  34. DawgDaddy

Bansai buckeroo I started school when I was 5, birthday was in December.  I always wished I had started when I was 6.  That extra year of maturity would have meant an awful lot during those years.

  35. Bulldawg36

Have fun fella!!! Didn’t know y’all golfed. I couldn’t even hit the ball!!!

  36. AlphaDawg

Bulldawg36 to the golf course! haha Wife and I are planning a vacation for August I believe. Going on another cruise

  37. Avon Barksdale

Question for you guys. Seems like we’ve got about a dozen linebacker prospects we’ve got a shot at right now. Aside from McBride, who seems elite, who are the next guys up on your list that you really want us to get?

  38. AlphaDawg

haws1178 haha it’s my Friday too! I carried over 81 vacation hours from 2015 so I’ve been taking every Friday off for the last 4 weeks! Still have 4 more!

  39. MMCSDAWG

DawgDaddy MMCSDAWG Bulldawg36 Good to know.  Trip to the mountains is in our plans this fall!

  40. MMCSDAWG

Bulldawg36 Or it might mean we are betting the pants off of them and we don’t need anyone else to run the ball!

  41. DawgDaddy

MMCSDAWG DawgDaddy Bulldawg36 Old Union and Butternut Creek.  Both solid tracks

  42. Bulldawg36

Hope we don’t have to rely on him too much because that will mean Chubb and michel are still banged up

  43. AlphaDawg

Alright fellas! Heading out of work and got tomorrow off too! Might drop by after I get back from testing out these new clubs.

  44. haws1178

It’s my Friday and I’m about to head home . I’m ready for a cold beer and catching up on some Dawg news

  45. MMCSDAWG

    RumRunnerDoogie MMCSDAWG Bulldawg36
Got 4 kids..  3 boys and 1 girl!  31 oldest 18 youngest!   It’s been a long and winding road! lol

  46. Bulldawg36

A banged up Chubb and Sony will still run unc over. The key will be if we keep can hold them to FGs once they get in the red zone, unc does have a good offense and will be able to move the ball. Still think it will be a dawg victory

  47. RumRunnerDoogie

MMCSDAWG AlphaDawg the way things are looking at the moment it seems smart and pick which LBs he wants

  48. Bulldawg36

Yep. He is a monster a brewing. Just wait till he gets up to about 245-250 and keeps the same speed. He gonna kill people

  49. MMCSDAWG

Bulldawg36 Don’t need much room until they get older…  closer they are to you the less you have to walk to get them!  lol

  50. Bulldawg36

Missed you too MMCS. I’ve cleaned the apartment out for the baby as well. Got rid of a lot of stuff… Still feels like their is no room tho. Lol

  51. RumRunnerDoogie

AlphaDawg when i heard all purpose back i was thinking a scat back…definitely not that

  52. MMCSDAWG

Bulldawg36 Bigger, better, and faster!  He already weighs 230#  and he is only 16 yrs old!

  53. DawgByte

AlphaDawg He got caught hacking Hillary’s email server… the one located in the Colorado bathtub.

  54. MMCSDAWG

Bulldawg36 There he is!!!  Brooklyndawg  was missing you and suggested you were busy remodeling your new babies room!

  55. Bulldawg36

Me and the wife celebrated our Aniversary in the north Georgia mountains!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  56. DawgByte

RumRunnerDoogie No I don’t. I think interior DL is a big priority for this staff. I think they’ll be going after several candidates.

  57. Greg Poole

MMCSDAWG Could be. I think that depends on how he looks this fall. If he can provide minutes they will probably stabilize his weight and keep him as an RB. Just guessing though.

  58. AlphaDawg

MMCSDAWG AlphaDawg YUP! Like I said this morning, I saw Herring with one, but I couldn’t recognize the other kid. Now we know!

  59. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole Is he going to grow out of the RB position?  He might be a LB or S before long!

  60. MMCSDAWG

AlphaDawg MMCSDAWG Now we know!  It’s nice to have our team represented at elite events like this!  Especially in big numbers like we have this year!

  61. AlphaDawg

MMCSDAWG AlphaDawg That’s the kid I couldn’t recognize from Lecounte’s snapchat

  62. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole DawgByte From everything I’ve been able to read, it would be a shocker if he doesn’t pick UGA!  Your right, the more I watch him, the more I like his skill set and power.

  63. MMCSDAWG

RobDawg Definitely had the numbers!  He will get a chance sooner or later and i sincerely hope he shows out!

  64. DawgByte

    What up Dawgs!?
If we can pick up T. Carter tomorrow that would be huuuuuuge! I really like the way this kid runs. He’s got great vision, hits the hole quickly and is not afraid to run between the tackles. He’s also not easy to bring down. Fingers crossed!

  65. BahitsDawg

AlphaDawg Brooklyndawg RumRunnerDoogie I am happy to say, I have never seen his butt.

  66. AlphaDawg

Brooklyndawg RumRunnerDoogie AlphaDawg You’re not one to be talking BK! I haven’t seen your butt in a minute either.

  67. Greg Poole

It was pretty neat to meet and chat with the Olympians. I’ll have a some video up tomorrow morning. I also shot a few seconds of footage of the new IPF from the back porch of Butts-Mehre. I’ll post that in a few minutes.

  68. Doc R

Greg Poole BahitsDawg one of my favorite quotes from him was “The further a society drifts from the truth, the more they will hate those who speak it”

  69. MMCSDAWG

Doc R MMCSDAWG Six decades dawg Exactly…  Unfortunately I arrived here in the mid 90’s….  It been rough!!

  70. Doc R

MMCSDAWG Six decades dawg I once had a GF from Jax who was a big gator fan—-of course, most gator fans think they didn’t start playing football until 1990 or so

  71. MMCSDAWG

    BahitsDawg MMCSDAWG Brooklyndawg RumRunnerDoogie AlphaDawg
    Yep…  of epic proportions!

  72. BahitsDawg

MMCSDAWG Brooklyndawg RumRunnerDoogie AlphaDawg in for a culture shock???   At this stage in her first pregnancy, I think our BD36 is already facing a culture shock.  😀

  73. MMCSDAWG

Brooklyndawg RumRunnerDoogie AlphaDawg Exacly what is probably happening…  He’s definitely in for a culture shock!

How have you been Brook?  Less than 2 months tile kick-off!!!

  74. Brooklyndawg

RumRunnerDoogie AlphaDawg Maybe his wife reminded him that he has a child coming real soon, so pick his butt off of his seat in front of a computer screen all the livelong day and get cracking’ on working on a baby’s room. That’s what I would do.

  75. crazydawg87

Me thinking about possible top juco just for depth!! or not,I’m crazy you know###

  76. RumRunnerDoogie

MMCSDAWG RumRunnerDoogie well i meant more of DT, i think some of our OLBs will grow into DEs

  77. MMCSDAWG

RumRunnerDoogie If we don’t take a DL this year, we will have to load up next year or we will be way behind the curve in 18 & 19′ seasons…   I see us going after a Juco DL next year for sure if we don’t get Solomon or another top DL this year.

Something tells me we haven’t seen the end of transfers out…  I believe there is a very good chance that 4-5 more leave before NSD next year.

  78. RumRunnerDoogie

Six decades dawg i think it has to at least be around 70%. college is weird like that in that one year a team can suck and the next playing for it all.

  79. MMCSDAWG

    Six decades dawg

Of course undefeated would be the ultimate, but those are pretty good numbers and I believe achievable under Kirby.  I of course would like to move that UF closer to 7-3 vice 5-5 though!  Living here in Jax, it’s beginning to become intolerable again.

  80. Six decades dawg

Have a question for those who might be interested.
What do you think our record should be against our major rivals during any 10 year period.
    I think 7-3 versus Tennessee ( I really don’t like Tennessee and 7-3 rhymes with Tennessee )
SC 7-3 UF 5-5 (maybe I’m giving them too much credit? aub 7-3 gt 9-1 .
At any rate, this would be pretty good results. I think we have the coaching and HS talent to make i happen.

  81. Bansai buckeroo

Unless you are on a mobile device (iPad)…then it appears in black just like your post…not in blue. Livefyre does not support the tag function on mobile devices..

  82. RumRunnerDoogie

if smart cant flip soloman do yall think they will just not take a DT this year and use that scholly for possibly another WR/DB?

  83. MMCSDAWG

Six decades dawg I feel your pain Six decades dawg !  I’ve been trapped behind enemy lines here in Jax for almost 20 years myself.  I have watched and coached my 3 sons for the last 25+ years, only one left and he is senior in HS this year.  he is tall and skinny, but I taught him a long time ago how to long snap.  He plays every single game and has his entire HS career.  He sometimes gets on the field as a corner or safety, but he’s always out there for extra points, FG’s and punts.  His team won the State Championship last year here in Florida, so my least athletic child is the one with the big ole ring he wears around all the time!  Next will be coaching and watching my grandkids!  Oldest boy is turning 6 this year!

  84. MMCSDAWG

AlphaDawg So harbaugh is ducking the SEC??  Not like he was playing Alabama…   is Long still involved in the CFB playoff committee?  keep that in the backs of your minds!

  85. AlphaDawg

BahitsDawg RobDawg If Aaron Murray was Lambert’s height he would have went in the first round!

  86. AlphaDawg

BahitsDawg Score Check MMCSDAWG it’s been a long time since I read that book

  87. BahitsDawg

Score Check MMCSDAWG Laws are for the little people

All animals are equal, some are more equal than others.

  88. RobDawg

See the Chikfila people already have spilled the beans on the starter for the first game…. There he is pictured right there in the official info #####

  89. Score Check

    MMCSDAWG Score Check
Lots of bad smells all over these days  i.e. email server  LOL

  90. Six decades dawg

    @PTCDawg
    Thanks for the welcome
We live in Birmingham have for last 30 years. Grandson played OG at Spain Park HS. Earned 3 varsity letters . Unfortunately also tore 2ACLs. Some of the best times of my life spent watching practice and his games when healthy

  91. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole That’s my boy M. Carter.  I rank him second only to Eason in the last class.  He is needed and he will deliver!

  92. ed603

    Six decades dawg
Welcome to the board…Grandson, too! Without my Grandsons, I could hardly turn this thing on…

  93. PTCDawg

Six decades dawg Welcome Six Decades!! Wait a minute…your grandson doesn’t happen to live in Pelzer does he?? :>)

  94. MMCSDAWG

AlphaDawg MMCSDAWG  I’m with you…   I am over the NCAA.  They are the worst ran organization in this country.

  95. Greg Poole

RumRunnerDoogie  His relationship with UGA has been on/off. Sometimes I have wondered how interested UGA was in him – I guess we’ll see…

  96. AlphaDawg

RumRunnerDoogie AlphaDawg I saw those. But at this time last year Brown was 100% UGA too lol

  97. RumRunnerDoogie

AlphaDawg RumRunnerDoogie 100% predictions to UGA http://247sports.com/Player/Markaviest-Bryant-87648

  98. AlphaDawg

RumRunnerDoogie I was curious about Bryant (Big Cat). Are we still good with him? He’s pretty quiet on the recruiting trail

  99. RumRunnerDoogie

BahitsDawg Greg Poole RumRunnerDoogie was going to make a tenn football joke but have to bite my tongue on that hahaha

  100. dawgmum

RumRunnerDoogie Recruiting’s just a crazy business. I guess he’s back in the mix. We’ll take him!

  101. Greg Poole

Six decades dawg  Find the @ on your keyboard – when you enter it a list of possible readers to tag will appear below the comment box – just scroll to the one you want and hit enter.

  102. RumRunnerDoogie

i thought the ship had sailed with jamyest? UGA has gotten a couple projected CBs within a week

  103. Six decades dawg

Thank you to everybody that welcomed me(and my grandson). How do I put the @ somebody’s name when replying?

  104. AlphaDawg

MMCSDAWG AlphaDawg If ole miss gets off and GA southern gets in trouble for FORMER staff helping 3 players academically the NCAA should take a wrecking ball to the building and forget it.

  105. Greg Poole

Going to B-M shortly to shoot some video of UGA Olympians and Olympic swimming coach Jack Bauerle. Looking forward to it although I know less than Bauerle’s first name about the sports.

  106. MMCSDAWG

AlphaDawg Ouch…  What did they do???   And Ole Miss will get what for the Tunsil stuff???  Let’s just wait and see.

  107. AlphaDawg

crazydawg87 RumRunnerDoogie MMCSDAWG I got some ice cold Appleton we can finish off!

  108. crazydawg87

MMCSDAWG crazydawg87 I hear ya brother, got me smothered at work.i can only peek in every so often,  haha

  109. MMCSDAWG

crazydawg87  What’s up Crazy…   been holding down the fort waiting for the season to hurry up and get here…

  110. Six decades dawg

Thanks I believe I will take a seat. You made me feel welcome. Picture is perfect.

  111. MMCSDAWG

Six decades dawg  Thanks for posting and hopefully you will post some more!   It is crazy the level to which our program and our recruiting has taken off.   Better players make you a much better coach!   But honestly, I believe it is the little things that will separate CKS from the crowd and move us into the next level of competition!  GO DAWGS!

  112. Six decades dawg

Long time reader—first time poster with help from grandson. Really appreciate the info shared by y’all.
Looks like big things goin on in Athens. More excitement surrounding the program and especially the recruiting. Now we have to make sure it translates to game day . Pretty sure that it will. Didn’t mean to be so lengthy. As always, Go dawgs.

  113. RumRunnerDoogie

replying to a question down below, ESPNU will be showing the openinghttp://espn.go.com/blog/ncfrecruiting/on-the-trail/insider/post/_/id/77135/guide-to-the-opening-team-machspeed

  114. MMCSDAWG

AlphaDawg MMCSDAWG I am blown away at our recruiting and the level of athlete we are continuously getting on campus and getting in front of.  I didn’t realize it until reading an article somewhere yesterday about Webb I believe, but we also hired the WR coach that worked with Coley at UM last year as an off field staff member and Webb talked about how great he was and how they talked for up to 2 hours at a time.  The thing about Kirby and company is the relentlessness with which the ENTIRE staff is working in recruiting.  Schumann is a tireless worker both on and off the field.

  115. MMCSDAWG

I seen somewhere that our old cohort in crime, otherwise known as the BRB or MNM @trentsmallwood has had an addition to his Family!  if your out there Trent congratulations and our prayers for Mom and Babies health!

  116. AlphaDawg

MMCSDAWG AlphaDawg UGA seems to have a large presence at the Opening. We’ve always had a few but it seems some of these silent commits are just getting cabin fever and want to come out!! Love seeing all of the power Gs

  117. MMCSDAWG

AlphaDawg And us older folks that don’t twitt and the such really appreciate it!  Malik is a big time prospect.   The level of recruiting being done by our staff and our already committed players is off the charts!

  118. AlphaDawg

y’all know I do the mellinal things for y’all around here… Lecounte’s snapchat story shows a few guys in UGA hats. Malik Herring is one of them I believe. Don’t recognize the other guy. But I saw about 4 Bulldog hats in the video.

  119. BahitsDawg

Greg Poole BahitsDawg Greg, if you want to, you can stamp Bulldawg Illustrated on it before tweeting it.

  120. BahitsDawg

Greg Poole BahitsDawg I kind of wish I had reworded it to be be Fromm Georiga, I mean State Farm.

    GO DAWGS!!!!

but, I have already had two new requests for real work today.  It is looking like it is going to be a busy one.  got to get a coffee!!!

  121. BahitsDawg

Greg Poole BahitsDawg yeah.  I saw the Fromm post down below and decided to have some fun.  Turned out ok, considering I am in bad need of a cup of coffee.

  122. BahitsDawg

Greg Poole dsw61 yeah.  I am always frustrated to see an offense of a team I support have success with a play, then go completely away from it.  It has happened too often.  I don’t know if the OC has a list of plays he is determined to run or if he just out thinks himself.

example – Bama against OSU two years ago when Henry was crushing them at the end of the game and dufus Kiffen called up that long pass.  wth?

  123. rugbydawg79

Greg Poole Monday night in Orlando ?   After the first week of school ?  I hope we can continue to stay away from any Thursday or Monday games !

  124. Greg Poole

dsw61  Number one rule of offensive football: when you have a big play, run it again.

  125. Bansai buckeroo

Didn’t know that…. I remember holding our youngest son back a year starting to school because we didn’t want him being one of the youngest in his class…..

  126. AlphaDawg

MMCSDAWG LAWD that boy isn’t even close to done growing and he’s already 220 and 6’3

  127. MMCSDAWG

Anyone else pay attention to the fact that R. Beal our latest commit is only 16 yrs old.  He turns 17 middle of August.  Oh, boy he’s going to be a good one!

  128. AlphaDawg

Just want to remind everyone that outside of Simmons we haven’t recruited a WR that’s under 6’1. I’m very pleased with Coley and his ability to change our WR recruiting at UGA!

  129. Doc R

Reddawg13 Bansai buckeroo well we all know that 78.83567% of all statistics are made up on the spot

  130. Hobnailboot aka RobG

Yes it is.,….too hot to do anything except sit in the air conditioning

  131. BroDawg

Greg Poole From what I have read, Swift and Webb both want to play in the SEC leaving only Bama…. Bama would be a mistake for Swift due to the depth they already have at RB, pulling either the #1 or #2 RB every year for the past 4 years. Hope he does the “Smart” thing.. lol

  132. dsw61

Watched the 1st half of last year’s UNC-Clemson game last night. It looked to me like Clemson was having good success with the underneath routes, not including the three drops by Clemson receivers. The announcers even commented on how the underneath routes were open. For some reason Clemson went away from that and started taking more shoots down the field. I guess they got bored picking up 5,6,7 yards on the underneath routes. The underneath routes were open despite UNC’s veteran LBs, who are now gone.

The 1st half is why I’ve always liked Spurrier as an OC. If a play was working for Spurrier, he would keep calling the same play until the other team showed they could stop it. I’ve watched games where he would call the same play three or four times in a row. It would get to the point where it was almost comical. Hope Chaney has a little Spurrier in him.

Anyways, so far I haven’t been impressed with either team’s play in the first half. Both QBs weren’t very accurate in the 1st half. The UNC QB; who is now gone; really struggled. UNC’s stud LB #42 looked really good against the run, but struggled in pass protection. I stand by my belief that Eason should be able to pick them apart throwing to the TEs and throwing to the slot receivers running slant routes. UNC did do a pretty good job in the 1st half taking away the vertical routes.

That’s what I’m hoping!  From everything I’ve seen so far, like Greg says, there is a new attention to detail in our program.

  134. Reddawg13

MMCSDAWG BahitsDawg Greg Poole Surely the days of unexplained
un-readiness are over! Not saying we won’t lose some games we maybe should win or have bad days, but total un-readiness? And often after two weeks to get ready?

  135. Bansai buckeroo

@Chief….whip those gators and I’ll give Kirby another year…###…. 🙂

  136. MMCSDAWG

BahitsDawg Greg Poole That’s all I’m asking…  please kirby have our team ready to play when they get to JAX…

  137. BahitsDawg

Greg Poole Well, duh!   Who didn’t know that?

They still beat our tails.   Hopefully, Kirby will put an end to that.

  138. BahitsDawg

Greg Poole In a perfect world, when the NCAA got finished with them, they would be lucky to beat a high school team.

Where has justice gone into hiding?

  139. Reddawg13

Bansai buckeroo nice to know that to generate some conversation all one has to do is give smart azzes an opportunity! lol

  140. Reddawg13

Greg Poole Reddawg13 as soon as I hit post, I expected this smart azz answer to show up, go head Greg!

  141. Lucas Rogers

Had a real bad storm roll through here this morning. Woke me up and my internet is out U0001f612

  142. Greg Poole

MMCSDAWG That is the way it should be done, but you should try to be more precise.

  143. dsw61

I noticed the Ty Chandler HUDL highlight clip above. Is there any interest there between Chandler and the staff? From everything I’ve read it appears that Georgia is going after Carter and Swift.

  144. MMCSDAWG

converted 1981 Greg Poole  As long as I can leave the stadium in JAX without feeling embarrassed and disgusted in what I just witnessed on the football field I will be happy and satisfied with the season.  Like you said, it’s not just losing a game it’s being totally embarrassed by an opponent that doesn’t even have a QB…

  145. MMCSDAWG

DawgDaddy Greg Poole Me too!  We need a top level RB in the fold and he appears to fit that bill!  Come on down Mr. Carter!

  146. Bansai buckeroo

    Good Morning Folks…. Ok… Where’s my commit?…. I like waking up and having a new commit…#

  147. MMCSDAWG

Hobnailboot aka RobG What’s up RobG!  Is it too hot to fish up there in Henry co?  It darn sure is around here!

  148. Greg Poole

converted 1981 As the world’s worse proofreader, I’m inclined to overlook those things.

  149. Greg Poole

converted 1981 I agree. That is similar to what Frankly  was saying about the “story.”

  150. Greg Poole

Frankly – I agree about the story and the QB. I would add  offensive line concerns, as well.

  151. converted 1981

Greg Poole The writer also needs to learn it is KIRBY!  I am sure that will be pointed out to him more than once.

  152. converted 1981

Greg Poole So far the hire has been a 100% positive move.  Look at G Day, Recruiting, Positive Attention for the School and Program as well as the Intensity.  I would also expect that there has been some added $$$$$ to the coffers since CKS’s hire.

A Good year would be 9 to 10 Wins – the DIFFERENCE will be how we play and look in EVERY Game.  No Blow outs on games we should have either been in or won.  No looking like we did not belong on the field.
A Great year would be 11 Wins, which Should put us in the SECCG.

How the Program, Coaches, Team and University Looks and Approaches each and every Moment HAS Changed.  That is a Positive hire.

  153. Frankly

    Greg Poole
It’s not the number of wins necessarily but the “story” of the season.  Despite 10 wins, I don’t anyone can view 2015 as anything other than a disappointment.

I think there are more reasons for optimism  for 2016 than reasons for concern (no proven QB).

  154. converted 1981

Greg Poole So the Wrong choice will cost him 2 years of his life while trying to get ready for Div. 1 and a possible NFL Career.  Choose wisely boys choose wisely.

  155. RobDawg

Is there any TV coverage of this week’s events out in Oregon? I thought I remember watching some of that last year

  156. DawgDaddy

Greg Poole I certainly hope it is what everyone is predicting.  He will be a DGD.

  157. Greg Poole

It’s a successful season if: The Bulldogs win 11 games and the SEC East. That has to be the standard, right? Because 10 wins and second place in the division the last two years under Mark Richt – who won double-digit games 10 times in 15 seasons – was not enough. Very good isn’t the goal; greatness is.
Why it should happen: Georgia plucked Kriby Smart from the Nick Saban tree because it wanted someone with a national championship pedigree and plan. He inherits plenty of talent, including (if healthy) the best running back tandem in the league, Sony Michel and Nick Chubb, and a veteran, ball-hawking secondary. Freshman QB Jacob Eason might take some time to get going, but looks like the real deal.
And if it doesn’t: Realistically, if Smart wins nine games in his debut season, the natives probably will remain optimistic about the future. But isn’t it funny how that works? How one man’s fireable offense is another man’s proof of progress? This time next year, though, nobody will be cutting Smart any slack either.https://www.seccountry.com/sec/sec-east-breakdown-its-a-successful-season-if
