TODAY’S FEATURED PROSPECTS

If position ranking is noted, it is 247 Sports latest composite ranking of the player.

KJ HENRY

CLASS: 2018

POSITION: DE/OLB – No. 2 WDE

HT, WT: 6 foot 5.5, and 235 lbs

SCHOOL: West Forsyth High School

CITY, STATE: Clemmons, NC

STATUS: Undeclared

UGA OFFER: Yes, offered on 04/21/2016.

# OFFERS: 29

NEWS & NOTES: Henry was offered by the Bulldogs back in April of last year and following a year of recruiting, he listed Georgia in his top-10 on April 5th. Henry camped and visited UGA on June 4th and June 5th, and then participated in Nike the Opening Finals during the summer. He dropped his top five on July 31st, and the Bulldogs made the cut along with Alabama, Clemson, South Carolina, and VT. Many think Clemson is the team to beat here, but Henry’s recruiting is wide open. Georgia is very much “in it” as far as this recruiting battle goes. He visited during the Mississippi State game just a couple of weeks ago on Sept. 23rd and had a great visit.

KAYODE OLADELE

CLASS: 2018

POSITION: DL – No. 16 SDE

HT, WT: 6 foot 4.5, and 245 lbs

SCHOOL: Champagnat Catholic School

CITY, STATE: Hialeah, FL

UGA OFFER: Yes, offered on 02/18/2017.

# OFFERS: 18

NEWS & NOTES: Oladele was offered by UGA back in February, and he visited Georgia for G-Day on 04/22. He had been committed to FSU but de-committed from the Noles on May 6th. After he de-committed, Oladele camped and visited again at UGA on June 2nd. He also camped and visited at Alabama, Auburn, Miami and Tennessee over the summer. He was considered a potential Ole Miss lean, but since Hugh Freeze’s firing and the upheaval at the school with the NCAA penalities bearing down on the program, one would think they are no longer considered here. But he included Mississippi in his top 5 back on August 1st along with UGA, Tennessee, Florida, and Auburn.

As things stand right now, it appears he is leaning towards Ohio State and PSU. Parsons visited Bama on July 16th and Ohio State on July 21st and he took an official visit to the Buckeyes game against Oklahoma on Sept. 9th. Last weekend, Parsons was at Penn State. The No. 1 WDE in the 2018 class has also scheduled an official visit to Nebraska on October 7th for the Cornhuskers home game against Wisconsin. Would like to see Georgia get an official visit from Parsons if they are to have a chance to here, but the Bulldogs do have a lot momentum on the recruiting trail at the moment.
