UGA women’s golf team rising junior Rinko Mitsunaga dropped her round of 32 match at the U.S. Women’s Amateur on Thursday.
 
 
Mitsunaga fell 2-and-1 to Zoe Campos at the San Diego Country Club.
 
 
Campos grabbed an early lead with a birdie at No. 1, but Mitsunaga tied the match by winning No. 2. Campos surged to 3-up by winning No. 6, No. 9 and No. 10. Mitsunaga bounced back to take No. 13 and No. 15 to close the gap to 1-up; however, Campos captured No. 16 and earned the win when both golfers parred No. 17.
