GymDogs host Iowa State in Stegeman this afternoon for their annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day meet

No. 17 Georgia plays host to No. 12 Iowa State this afternoon in the GymDogs Martin Luther King Jr. Day meet set to start tumbling at 2:00 p.m. ET. The GymDogs are 3-1 on the year and the Cyclones are also 3-1. The match will be SEC Network + and Kevin Copp with have the play-by-play while Sarah Persinger Sailors will provide analysis.

COMING INTO THE MEET…

The GymDogs are coming off a close loss in SEC play to LSU, 196.725 to 196.150. Before that, the ladies finished first in The Critique Classic in Kissimmee, Florida back on January 3rd.

Meanwhile, Iowa State is coming into Monday’s meet having defeated two top-25 programs in a week, downing No. 11 Western Michigan 195.750-191.800 in the Arizona Quad-meet on January 11th and beating No. 24 West Virginia 195.800-194.500 this past Friday.

PROMOTIONS:

Students who sit in the GymDog pound section (Y, Z, and A) will receive FREE Vision 20/20 t-shirts.

Kids 12 and under are invited to participate in a post-meet selfie session with the GymDogs.
