The University of Georgia men’s and women’s tennis teams will play a doubleheader against Georgia Southern this Wednesday. The women are scheduled to start at noon, while the men are slated to begin not before 3 p.m.
Both contests are scheduled to be played outdoors. Fans are required to leave the facility between the conclusion of the women’s match and the beginning of the men’s match. There will be a minimum of 45 minutes between the two contests to allow for sanitation crews to clean the facility.
While still limited, outdoor matches will be open to the general public— 275 fans are welcome to attend on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Available seating will be marked in the grandstands, as well as the grass berm behind the lower courts. Fan seating will not be available in the men’s and women’s team clubhouses or in the playing level area adjacent to Court 3.
To enter the Dan Magill Tennis Complex, fans are encouraged to enter through the main entrance in front of the men’s tennis club house. Masks are required at all times while moving throughout the facility. However, those in attendance may remove their masks once socially distanced in their seats.
Fans will not be permitted to attend indoor matches.
