The tournament, hosted by Florida State, will feature competition between players from Georgia as well as 17 other schools from across the country. Selected matches during the competition will be shown live on ESPN3.
[su_spacer size=”40″] “I think it’s great for our girls, program and sport to get the exposure,” said Associate Head Coach Drake Bernstein. “I think those that tune in will be impressed with the level of tennis played at this tournament and hopefully want to watch more.”
[su_spacer size=”40″] Competition will be stiff as the women’s slate features 15 ranked singles players and eight ranked doubles pairs. A total of seven of the 18 teams participating finished the 2015 season ranked, with Georgia boasting the highest ranking at No. 5.
