The regular season is done and it is conference championship weekend. Eastern Division champs, the No. 4 Georgia Bulldogs, face off against the Western Division champs, the No. 2 LSU Tigers for the 2019 Southeastern Conference title. Normally said, the golfer comes back to reality the next time out with a 72 or worse. Let the Tiger bogey train commence and watch our tenacious defense prove their unit is the best in the nation. Finally, look for the Dawgs’ offense to rise to the occasion and shock the world. Swift runs wild and Fromm threads the needle all night long. Georgia 30, LSU 20.”

Can Georgia do better on a neutral field? I think the Bulldog defense is up to the challenge, but this game will require a team effort on defense, offense, and special teams if UGA is to add another conference trophy to the case. “Make no mistake about it, the pressure is on Georgia’s shoulders Saturday.  LSU is in the Playoffs win or lose; so, the Bayou Bengals can play loose and free. Saturday is going to be all about the UGA offense.  If they get off to a fast start and give the defense believes that they will put points on the board, the Dawgs can win. However, this year LSU is simply the better team.  LSU 30 – Georgia 20.”

The LSU defense has given up 38, 38, 28, 20, 41, 37 and 20 in seven of its games, admittedly some of those scores by the opposition transpiring after the Tigers had put the game out of reach. Georgia and Jake Fromm have always played well in this facility and I’ve got to think the highly-motivated Bulldogs can get to 30 points on the Mercedes-Benz scoreboard.
