The Bulldogs cannot take any opponent lightly and this Missouri game could be especially dangerous with the Tigers passing attack. And our staff seems to have faith in the Bulldogs to come out of their homecoming game with a win and head into the bye week and the upcoming game with rival Florida at an undefeated 7-0.

Another week, another relatively stress-free victory for the Bulldogs. Missouri defense leaves a lot to be desired, Georgia has their way on the ground again. Lock and the Mizzou offense have been turnover prone but can move the ball so don’t be surprised to see a few scores.

Decisions … Decisions. Do you jump on the Dawg Kool-Aid train or stick to your core belief to never underestimate an opponent? Sorry, the early 90s were tough on this UGA undergrad … Georgia forced to fight hard to secure a 35-24 victory.
Murray Poole – Georgia 42, Missouri 14
This team, thankfully, hasn’t been caught looking ahead to anyone yet, and I don’t think Gators will be on the Bulldogs’ minds Saturday evening at Homecoming. Drew Lock, like Vandy’s Kyle Shurmur, can throw the deep ball and he has three excellent receivers in J’Mon Moore, Jonathan Johnson, and Emmanuel Hall so the Georgia D won’t hold this bunch scoreless but, as they did the Commodores, they will limit the Tigers to two touchdowns. The Dawgs climb to 7-zip with a 42-14 dismantling of Mizzou and then begin getting their mindset right for Jacksonville.
Jeff Dantzler – Georgia 31, Missouri 24
Missouri looked much better against Kentucky and their passing game worries me. The last two games between the two couldn’t have been closer. Dawgs are suddenly thin up front defensively. Georgia is just playing great, it’s such a fun ride. Hopefully, Iowa State-Oklahoma will be a motivator, and the red and black stays smoking hot!

I am normally not superstitious, but every time I’ve predicted that the opponent would put up 17 points on this Georgia D, they have been unable to do so. With that, I’m not going to upset the apple cart. Missouri has the potential to score more than 17, but this Dawg D is that darn good. Even if the Tigers can score, their defense is like the Bunny Ranch and anyone can score on them. Georgia puts on a show for homecoming in this one 48-17.
Greg Poole – Georgia 48, Missouri 20
Georgia will do exactly what it has been doing on offense and will score as many points as Kirby wants on a terrible Mizzou defense. The Junkyard Dawgs will be tested by the Tigers’ passing game but will get enough stops and turnovers to hold them under 25 points – with 10 points coming against the lower reaches of the depth chart.
ImYourHuckleberry – Georgia 59, Missouri 17
Missouri’s spread, uptempo offense will put a few points on the board but also gives the Dawgs offense more possessions. That’s bad news for a Mizzou defense that can’t stop anyone. Dawgs defense plays angry this week and forces a couple turnovers. This one gets out of hand early.
Han Vance – Georgia 40, Missouri 20
Lock and Moore lit Georgia up in the 1st half last year, and he had him on the game winner before a fumble, after our Joystick/Eason heroics. Eason finishes this game as well.
Ella Dorsey – Georgia 40, Missouri 14
Drew Lock has quite an arm, but our defense will prove too tough for a Mizzou team that does not seem to be playing any sort of defense itself. There will be a lot of points on the board at the end of the game, and we will go into the bye week 7-0.
Michael Pope – Georgia 45, Missouri 10
The Bulldogs have one of the nation’s best rushing attacks and they will be going up against a defense that is ranked 98th in this category so they should have a great day. I think the SEC’s leading rusher, Nick Chubb, has another 100+ day, and I think he will not be the only Bulldog to do this. While the Georgia defense gets caught on a couple passing plays, they will eventually shut down Drew Lock and this Tigers’ offense. Bulldogs improve to 7-0 and get ready for the Gators.
