Georgia’s Hali Flickinger earned two medals – including a gold – on Sunday in the Phillips 66 National Championships.
[su_spacer size=”40″] Flickinger, a senior, claimed the women’s 200-meter butterfly national title with a time of 2:07.59. She defeated Cassidy Bayer’s 2:08.33 and Christina Bechtel’s 2:09.20.
[su_spacer size=”40″] Flickinger returned about 30 minutes later to come in third in the women’s 200-meter backstroke. She stopped the clock in 2:10.60, trailing only Claire Adams’ 2:09.44 and Danielle Galyer’s 2:09.75. Former Lady Bulldog Megan Romano took eighth in 2:12.26.
