He ranks fourth all-time in Blue Bomber history for receptions (469) and receiving yards (7,200). He posted five 1,000-yard seasons and tallied 24 games with at least 100 yards receiving.
At the end of his Bulldog career in 2002, Edwards owned the Southeastern Conference record for receiving yards (3,093) and ranked second in receptions (204). His receiving totals still rank as Georgia records along with being the only Bulldog to record a 1,000-yard receiving season when he finished with 1,004 as a senior.
Edwards spent one season with the Atlanta Falcons in the NFL before enjoying a nine-year career in the CFL. He played for the Montreal Alouettes (2005-06) and then the Bombers (2007-13)
