In a game that featured two delays because of lightning and was finally shortened because of it later on in the second half, the highly touted 5-star prospect of the recruiting class of 2015 made his debut for the Dawgs. For the day, Godwin had 3 receptions for 30 yards with a long of 20; which, when you consider Georgia only passed the ball 14 times, he received almost 25% of the targets. Godwin had good moments, but he also had a couple of “freshman” moments.
[su_spacer size=”40″] He talks about one of those “freshman” moments where he loses the ball after a catch on an apparent fumble; however, on a replay ruling, he was ruled down prior to the ball coming loose, and Georgia maintained possession.

He stated he came in on the second play of the first offensive series for the Dawgs. When asked if he replaced Isaiah Mckenzie, he responded:

[su_spacer size=”20″] “Terry are you happy?”
