In the Bulldogs 1997 contest against the Gators, Smart had two key interceptions that helped lead the Bulldogs to victory after losing the rivalry game to the Gators for seven straight years. However, Smart’s past success in this rivalry is not on his mind going into this game, as he hopes to end the Bulldogs’ losing streak of two years.
