Avon Barksdale TE is UGA strongest position in 2016.

Talking RBs below, I feel that UGA sits in a fairly good spot for Swift, Sermon, Akers, and recruiting Brian Robinson hard. Akers is gonna be a really tough pull. Think the staff missed on an eval of Cordarrian Richardson, hes a big RB with vision and power and fairly good speed. Like him much better than Sermon. Ty Chandler is impressive as well.

Isn’t it amazing how many options suddenly seem possible on offense! Noticed one formation with 2 WR, 2 TE, and the RB split out wide – with Sony that could be deadly!
Lucas Rogers Thomas is listed at 6-5 295, did he look lean for a lineman at that weight? I know we are looking at some real BIG guys.
Greg Poole Yes. Austin Connor, Justin Shaffer and Jacoby Stevens said it was definitely more organized.

I am expecting Georgia to sign close to 30 for the 2017 class, but it will depend on how many of those PWO’s the Dawgs took in 2016 get scholarships between now and then.
Has any of the recruits mentioned Georgia’s recruiting organization? It is noticeably different than in the past. More people, complete control of the process from the time the prospect arrives.
How realistic could you see us getting 11-12 of the top 15 GAstate players? Besides Gibbs and Jamyest, I feel like we sit well

I talked to Andrew Thomas (2017 OT from Pace academy) after G Day for a bit. He was pretty blown away by the game. Even used the word “surreal” to describe it. Also mentioned how important the fans were in his recruitment, and how it’s nice to know the fans love you. I expect him to end up in the UGA signing class.
We gotta load up on some pass rushers in this class – Beal, Herring, etc!

BenKellam Like Lucas said. Right now, Jaden Hunter is Georgia’s best recruiter right now for AJ Terrell. His recruitment is going to keep blowing up though if he stays healthy.
