Brian Herrien was in a similar situation to Ian McIntyre having to wait on his ACT scores to see if he cleared the NCAA clearing house. NCAA academic qualifiers changed this year and it hit this class hard. There were a number of guys caught off guard and had to retest that would have qualified in last year and years past.
