After the UGA baseball team won game No. 3 of the three-game series with Richmond, 5-4, on Sunday, the Bulldogs’ redshirt junior Tucker Bradley talks about his first time back on the mound in a while, the team’s performance this weekend, and about the strengths of the relief pitching.
Bradley was subbed in for Will Childers on the mound for Georgia in the top of the eighth inning with two outs and was able to get the third out on an infield grounder to second. With a 5-4 lead, head coach Scott Stricklin elected to keep Bradley on the mound for the top of the ninth, and he would retire the three Richmond batters 1, 2, 3 to close out the game.
